Most Easterly Point!
We woke in Ipswhich this morning and decided to drive to Lowestoft, Suffolk. Once we parked up at the South beach and headed toward Ness Point. Ness point is essentially the most easterly point of the UK. At this point we were 110 miles from London and about 110 miles from the Hague. How weird to be halfway between London and the Hague. Add to that we were 360 miles from Edinburgh - so essentually I was much closer to the capital of the Netherlands than I was from a major city in my own country - and who says the UK is a small island :)
Although the weather was windy we had a great day wandering around the coastline and then heading for a sneaky fish and chips lunch.
Well that is it for Bank Holidays until August!
