Layers

I created this 'piece of art' a few weeks ago when we first moved to Cobourg.

My idea was to make a painting of the barn roofs I have seen driving from Cobourg to Brighton and back. Many of these roofs had shingles with metal panels on top.

It turned out well. I used leaves painted copper as shingles and papier mâché newspaper spatter painted.
