Hiding in Plain Sight

This mama killdeer has four half grown babies stuffed under her.
She is sitting super still, desperately hoping I don't see her while her partner
flies around and shrieks near by.
Unfortunately they are raising their family in a busy school parking lot, so are stressed much of the time. The fact that the babies are quite brazen and run around everywhere does not help matters much.
I'll be happy for them when the babies are full grown and they can relax.
