Tree Peony

Most of the flowers I grow have been previously blipped but I couldn't find this one, so here it is. I have three of them in various colors that all bloom faithfully each year. The flowers don't last long but are a treat to see.

Most countries celebrate a Memorial Day for the fallen and the U.S. honors it today. There's a fascinating photo exhibit here at the moment at the Ford Museum depicting American soldiers throughout various U.S. "engagements." I'm linking to a write-up of it here.
