Doodler...

I've probably noted this before here but I'm a bit of a doodler. If there's a pencil in my hand and medium on which to use it in front of me, there's a good chance that within about 5 minutes, there will be some shapes forming.

Today, I got a sort of mini talking to about it because I was doing it in the middle of a meeting (which incidentally is where, along with during telephone calls, a lot of my doodling is done). I wasn't really that bothered about it because as he pointed out it could be construed as rude if anything else related to attention.

I always cite the creative side of my brain taking over in these situations. I generally am listening very intently but others may not think it.
