I love my home. But there are things that just aren't done best there. Things that are better done in California. Such as shopping and lunch. Particularly with my sister. With no shortage of great shops - especially outlets of shops with clothes more interesting than anything in my home area (especially now that one particular store just closed), and 2-5 amazing restaurants on every block, well.... I wouldn't want to live here but it's a nice place to visit.
