On the road again...

Two days back at work and I've headed off to Wellington again for the next conference.

This water sculpture stands in the departures/arrivals courtyard at Nelson airport. I've always assumed she represents the earth she grows from the sea she wears and the air she is buffeted by and releases the bird into. And I guess the sending off on a journey. So I assume she was wishing me well on mine. I shall greet her on my return on Sunday.

Tonight she was bathed in pink just as sunset was beginning.
