Borrowdale

The morning Linda and I went to Keswick to buy some new walking boots (for me) and then it was off to Borrowdale to meet up with sister Sue for a very pleasant walk; starting at Grange and stopping off at Stonethwaite Seatoller for some refreshments before heading back.

The water of the River Derwent was crystal clear (little did we know that water, lots of it, were to be a major feature of our holiday in Scotland).
