Looking in

Today my 100th blip. First milestone, 100 blips and no gap. Because of the morning drizzle I chose to capture a subject in the garden. My eye was caught by the peony I posted on Sunday the 22nd. (Btw, it was also raning then).

Lots of petals felt out in the last few days. So this morning one could peek into the inside of the flower. I was amazed! Used a magnifier to look at the (wet) pestil. This would be my blip!

I used a aluminium wind shield (you know, from the camping gear) against the wind and a 12 led ring for additional light to be able to get with f/16 an acceptable DoF. A 50mm + extension tube 2.5x. No after processing. 20% crop. And here it is ... ;)

I want to thank everybody I virtually met in my first 100 days for passing by, commenting, subscribing, giving stars and hearts. I made so many a friend through comments and exchanging thoughts, ideas, and so on. Blipfoto is a very special and wonderful community and I think it's worth lots of efforts to make that go on.

Special thank you to the people of Blip Central, who make this all possible. My gratitude and compliments ... ;)

Edit: have added this entry to the Looking In Challenge as suggested ... ;)
