Inveraray Jail

The weather inland is much the same ~ sunshine and showers ~ but that is OK as we are visiting Inveraray Castle (home of the Duke of Argyll) and Inveraray Jail today. Both are very interesting places and we are both educated and entertained.

We also came across what looked like the local youth pipes and drums band practising ~ they were very good.

Strolling back to our guest house (the excellent Newton Hall which we recommend) along the shore of Loch Fyne we spotted a Turnstone picking his way down the stoney shoreline ~ brill!
