Edinburgh City Council automated telephone service

I've been in contact with the Edinburgh city council in regards to council tax. And by the time I got to speak to an actual human being my will to live had gone. I was on the phone for a better part of an hour chosing options one after an other. This system has to be one of the most painfully excruciating on the planet. I'll take water torture over this any day. OK my rant's over now.
