In a land of salons and studios, Wood's Barber Shop on Drummond Street stands alone, unreconstructed and probably looking much as it did when it opened in 1890.

It opens early too, so I was able to pop in for a haircut before work. And at £7 a pop, it's pretty cheap. Mind you, they didn't take long. I was in and out in not much more than 10 minutes.
