The sound of music..
Vermont has a number of small attractions spread out all over and on Tuesday, we set out to explore two of them. First we headed to the factory of Ben & Jerry's where we had a wonderful time to say the least. Creativity & cute little attractions were stuck in each corner of the factory.
Then we headed towards to Stowe Vermont, the place famous due to the presence of the lodge of the Von Trapp family. After the Nazi takeover in Austria, the singing family of Von Trapp was forced to escape & tour all over the world for months. When they came upon Stowe, it seemed to resemble their homeland the most which is why they settled there & liked to entertain the guests in their lodge.
The tradition grew & to this day, the lodge of the family has been made into a guest house & attracts people from all over the world to the scenic mountainous area & to the graves of the Von Trapps.
