Purple passions

Today I was treated to a lovely morning at Herefordshire's Hampton Court Castle and Gardens. The sun was kind and shone for most of the morning, shame it was lacking somewhat during our visit to Hay yesterday!

The gardens were full of purple poppies, purple alliums, roses, geraniums and irisis. Other colours were available but purples dominated, a particular passion of mine :)
