Green River.
Creedence Clearwater Revival.
My other considered blip.
Chicago gets kind of crazy at this time of year.
It hosts the country's largest St. Patrick's Day parade,
and has dyed the river green every year for nearly forty years.
People in the city are wearing green hats, makeup, etc.
And are generally pretty drunk.
I went downtown for the sole purpose of blipping the river.
(Although I did meet up with a couple friends later!)
At first, I was confused because it didn't seem that green.
However, I walked to the area where it was actually dyed
and it was definitely green there,
although not when you look out in the distance.
*The color when I looked straight down off the bridge.
*Also found a green water fountain later in the city.
*Liked this shot of the ceiling of the Jackson Blue Line stop.
*Always thought this building was interesting -- love the cars.
