NZR
I was in Dunedin today, catching up on a few jobs that needed done. I was driving passed the old bus station (now the Otago Early Settlers Museum) and thought it might make an interesting Blip for today. New Zealand Rail has an interesting history and a lot of the left over trinkets (cups, plates etc) are of some value to collectors. This building is lovely and a great example of its era its good to see it being used again.
It got me thinking...........
What do we have to do to get a railway system that operates in a useful way back in this country?
As time goes on we are going to have to find a way to use public transport rather than rely on private transport as we all do now, how will we cope.
