Manong Manuel

Since fathers' day is celebrated every June and since my father's birthday is on the sixth, I decided to work on a fathers portrait project this month.

While on a photowalk earlier, I spotted Manong Manuel here who seemed to be a kind and interesting character. I took a deep breath and then approached him in his stall/spot in the market. I smiled, said hello, introduced myself and then asked if I could take his photo. To my delight, he gladly agreed. :)

I asked if he has kids to which he replied by proudly showing his kids' photos. He has five kids, four of which are already professionals.:)
