Ladies that do lunch

I enjoy the people/street scenes I see on this site and have been keen to add some to my portfolio. This was taken during my lunch break in Falmouth.

I need to get over feeling really conspicuous when taking people shots and admire those of you who capture fantastic portraits or people scenes, whether candidly or not.

...or should I just buy a humongous zoom lens - perhaps one of those that looks like it would launch missiles? But then I guess I'd still be as conspicuous.
