pudding monster

I'm still reeling from the report that police in Bristol have arrested four people after BBC Panorama's secret film of serious abuse at a residential hospital which looks after people with learning disabilities and autism. The Care Services Minister, Paul Burstow, has said government regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), has been asked to conduct an urgent investigation. Stable door, horse bolted ...

It's three years to the day since Jo moved into a residential care home for autistic adults. She is very happy there, well, apart from not being allowed felt pens in her bedroom. She does like to draw on the walls.

To celebrate, we went out for a Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet, one of her favourite places to go (because you can have unlimited puddings, you know). It's a special occasion so sod the healthy diet for the day. It's also the day that her sister had to complete her degree show submission. That was all handed in successfully, so four puddings each then!!

And I just reached 100 blips - woohoo!
