Santorini Day 3. The Village of Oia

Day 3 and we fancied a wander around Perissa. Both kids were tired from a couple of late nights, so they didn't fancy a lot of walking. So we hired a car and went for a drive round the island. After some interesting variations on a theme of driving, we found the village of Oia, near the north of the island. How the kids slept during the drive, I've no idea, but for our sakes, I'm glad they did.

The village of Oia is perched - almost literally in the edge of the cliff facing the Caldera. After parking the car, we set off on a wander to find somewhere for lunch. There was plenty of choice for places to eat. The only snag was that most of the cafe's were either not pram or child friendly. Still, I did manage to capture a few shots of the area. The skies were slightly overcasr, which added to the effect.

This shot needs to be a wee bit bigger to add to the effect. Well, thats what I think anyway!
