Sunflowers

I bought this last year and it was great for a pound so i got it again this year. They are sunflowers. I only planted the seeds two days ago so can't beleive they are ready to plant outside already. Hopefully Harvey will be more into it this year and we can watch them grow in the garden.

Today was a lovely sunny day and we went to Whisby nature reserve. When we got their they were doing pond dipping and bug hunting in the fields with the big nets so we had a go, they had experts in the building next to the pond who knew what all the pond life was called. So you got your bucket of pond water and tipped it into a big white tray so you can see what you have captured. It was really good and all free. On the way home we got a macdonalds and went to Gran and Pap's to eat it.
