Pink Ginger

There are so many colorful flowers here on Maui. This one is a Pink Ginger. What I think of as the flower is actually bracts or modified leaves. The actual flowers are whitish and form inside this cone. I've seen many Red Ginger plants here but not as many of the pink. I especially liked the way the light was shiny through the bracts.
