Looking towards Knoydart
Sunday involved a long drive south from Torridon, via Glenachulish to visit the folks, and onwards to Edinburgh. Every so often we'd turn a corner and there would be another fjord-like loch or snow-capped mountain range, all in ever-changing light. We stopped off for a picnic in Glen Nevis, lying on our backs and watching three eagles soaring upwards on thermals until they disappeared into the infinite blue sky.
