HDR or Not HDR

Stopped on the way to John's tonight to take this photo of the sun setting with the pink sky. Thought I'd try a bit of HDR for the first time, but think I failed miserably. I have no idea if it worked or not. I'm totally confused and bamboozled. Me thinks I'll need to consult Mr Blogs tomorrow for a bit more advice. That aside I quite like the result and enjoyed trying something new.


[The colour isn't right in this image either. It was much higher in contrast and less pale before I uploaded too. Guess its just not my night]
