Swedish apple cake

A flash from the past yesterday hit me and I had a hankering for some of this scrumptious apple cake, so with the ingredients to hand I whipped one up, bunged it in the oven and gorged on a goodly portion and really enjoyed it.
Not knowing then that my other half also gorged on it, she not knowing when to stop and then was up all night, suffering with indigestion. No matter, all the more for me today:)
