No wonder I spend a fortune on bird seed

This may look like a plastic pigeon but my wallet can vouch for the fact that this one is definitely real and patrols my back garden border, helping himself to huge quantities out of the the bird feeders at regular intervals.

That's possibly why the smaller birds are in short supply this year...

The dog chases him away now and then - but he's persistent.

The cat doesn't even bother...
