Many, many of them on todays walk.
All I had to do is wait for one to land right in front of me.
The only difficult thing was the hard east wind...

Holiday today (Ascension Day), but more people celebrate it as Father's Day (Vatertag).
In Germany Father's Day is always celebrated on Ascension Day.
It is tradition for groups of males to do a hiking tour with small wagons, Bollerwagen, pulled by manpower. In the wagons wine or beer and the food is transported. Is it necessery to mention that this holiday is used as an opportunity to get drunk?

On my walk I saw several groups hiking through the "prairie",
but I was too far away to take pictures. Next year...
