Today we arrived in Udaipur, albeit 3 hours late! It's much cooler here, and very quiet and chilled. We found a room at the Panorama guest house - SO much better than our accommodation in Jaipur! It's clean and COMFORTABLE! We went for breakfast on our rooftop and then for a wander around Udaipur, where we found the green room recommended by the Irish girls and met an American girl and an old Japanese man while we ate our pancakes.

Duncan got another shave on the street - and while this was happening I learnt more Hindi, although the only thing I remember is how to say my name. We went to see the city palace, and spent the rest of the day recovering from our AC chair class journey. Although we really want to find somewhere to watch octopussy (which was filmed here), everywhere is closed because it's low season so it's proving hard to do. Dinner was delicious - I had panak paneer with naan and beer, and then we shared a dreamboat! Sitting reclining on a rooftop restaurant overlooking the floating palaces in the lake, it was wonderful. Now to bed!
