Camps Viaduct
The fine weather took a while to arrive today, but we are now lazing in a warm June evening - about time too!
I took the dog to Almondell today, as with most of central Scotland, there's still a lot of fallen tree debris around from the storm last week. One of the paths in the valley had been obstructed by a fallen beech which had severed a telegraph pole and brought the line down across the path.
The river is crossed by this fine railway viaduct built in the 1880s but disused for fifty years now.
Tonight I have the pleasure of a twelve hour shift to look forward to. Joy.
