Trying to catch a frog...

Today (a bank holiday in Belgium and Holland) we went over to the Netherlands to celebrate Bert's father's 75th birthday. It was a glorious day! And as everyone was off work/school it really felt the summer holidays had already started.

After coffee/cake/lunch we went over to the allotment Bert's dad is meticulously keeping to pick strawberries. The allotments are in the fields and a little "sloot" (=water filled ditch) runs along them. After picking all the strawberries we went out exploring... we first heard the frogs, but after a while we saw them too!.

Here Abbie, Pippa, Lars and Bert are trying to catch one (failed attempt of course).
