Big Busy Bombus

These bumblebees are so fast and busy its really difficult to get a picture of one! The idea today was originally just to find some pretty flowers and get some nice close-ups, until I saw this big beast of a bumblebee!

I was a little nervous getting the camera up real close to him. But I've never been stung by a bee or wasp and have always had the assumption that bees are 'friendly' and its the wasps that might be the ones irritated the most by us.

Oh and I wish I had sticky feet like his!
