today is b's 40th birthday! he loves his birthdays and is genuinely never bothered about getting older - which is definitely the way to be...and he's done a pretty good job of enjoying life for the first forty years that's for sure!

everyone should get a complimentary day off on their birthday - but at work they made a fuss of him (again) with banners and chocolate cake in the face haha, so it wasn't so bad afterall...looking forward to his big party on saturday - hopefully this ace weather will hang around.
