No time to look for a blip. I was just on my way out from the hotel when I got a shout. One of my clients had fainted - the youngest one by far in the group. After a good old throw up, she regained her colour and insisted she was fine.
Earlier, an 86 year old told me that she'd had a heart attack - 2 weeks ago! She and her husband wont be coming to Bakewell or Chatsworth as she can't walk very far. I offered to arrange a wheelchair but she refused. She looked upon a wheelchair as giving in to the advance of age. My dad, who is 85 is just the same. It means we can't take him anywhere far but I suppose retaining a modicum of independence is better than being able to do more with a bit of help.
I eventually left the hotel, grabbed a couple of photos in the fading light and headed back. All's quiet, thank goodness.
This bar started life as an Odeon cinema, was a nightclub and is currently closed. Like Dr Who, it awaits regeneration. In fact, the chap on top looks like tha Master (Mk 1). He was a Time Lord so I guess he could regenerate too.
