There's a beach!
Today I took Ryver to Central London. We met up with Nana and Sonia and her family. We went to Somerset House, which has a fantastic courtyard full of Water fountains. Ryver (said as River) really has the right name. He loves water of any kind. He managed to get three sets of clothing wet. People take towels and sunbathe there. I wouldn't myself. The Courtyard has the Inland Revenue on one side and the Navy Offices on another!
We then walked over the bridge to the South Bank, where we found a beach! It wasn't there the last time!! This beach is here for the summer season I think. Sand has been imported and placed along the pavement in containers, like one massive sandpit. There is a water fountain section. Beach huts, which I love. The longest piece of bunting made by the people of Southend. It was so nice to see. At the weekends it has food stall also.
I have back blipped the last couple of days. Just haven't had much time the last couple of days. I am trying to use my camera more than my phone at the moment.
Don't forget about the Friday Challenge tomorrow. It is Childhood. Can be a anything, memory, food, music, that reminds you of your childhood.
Right I am off to catch up with some of my favourite blippers.
