New Lobby Exhibition at our arts centre: Florence Roberge's exhibition 'KABI PONDS'

A new series of large oil paintings by Salt Spring artist Florence Roberge. The genesis of this body of work was an extended visit to central Queensland, Australia in 2009.

"The piercing quality of the light in Australia was a huge professional challenge for me" Florence reports.

She found her muse in the acres of lotus and lily ponds at Kabi, an organic orchard and wildlife reserve nearby.
