Family Dinner

H had a late nap today which I was pleased about as we were going for a family dinner at Guidis around 6pm and I knew she would get tired otherwise. As it was, we had to wake her to go around 5.30pm (easier said than done). She was obviously very tired!

Met my parents, brother, sister in law and niece at 6pm. At 6.40pm I had to go and find someone to take our order (kids meals to come with starters). Starters came around 7pm, but no kids meals - they were getting really restless and moany by then. We didn't get fed until after 7.30pm and they managed to forget a drinks order twice and give us extra food that we hadn't ordered. It was a bit of a shambles. I usually love eating there, but I don't think we'll go back when it's busy again. It's too expensive for poor service and organisation! We didn't bother staying for dessert as it was already too late and the kids were tired and fed up.
