Bamse

We had a wee day trip to Montrose. My Lover has the week off and we kinda fancied going to Roo's Leap for some nummy grub.
Stopped and took pics and looked at ships etc.
This is the statue of Bamse he was a St Bernard around during the 2nd world war. He went to sea on the Thorodd which was stationed in Dundee and Montrose. His contrabution?
He saved a salior from getting stabbed by pushing the would be stabber into the sea. He also saved another he saved from drowning when he fell over board!
