On the swings

I've been off the past few days, so we had planned to take the boys to Almond Valley Heritage Centre if the weather was nice (seeing as we've recently signed up for the annual membership). It was a scortcher of a day, so off we went and Aidan ran around the place like a mad-man. It was quite busy, and there were lots of kids in the park/trampoline area, however Aidan wasn't phased by it and just done his own thing - climbing up the ramp to the slides, and waving from the top of the slide. He had a wee shot on the trampoline and swings too, but I think his highlight of the day was chasing the chicken that wandered over to us when he was eating his lunch at the picnic tables.

We're knackered now - all that's left is to settle down to watch some Boardwalk Empire with a cheeky wee bottle of ice-cold Rose wine.
