Ox-eye daisy
I found this bruised and battered daisy over the fence of the back garden. It was amongst a bunch of wild flowers picked by the local children in the street. They've had a great day today playing cowboys and Indians and making shelters in the trees just beyond our garden. Listening to them has kept me pleasantly entertained whilst I've spent the evening lounging in the garden enjoying the last rays of sunshine. It's been a beautiful day! I hope the nice weather stays with is all weekend.
From photographing Sophie's flowers all week I've got a little mini studio set up in my lounge. It's great, I come in from work pick a flower and spend a little time taking photos before moving onto the more mundane tasks of everyday living. I've got children visiting tomorrow though so I better tidy up.
