Summer fun- almost!

Is June summer? Or are we in cuspville???
Visted our local open air pool today, it has just repened and after queueing for over an hour we were desperate to jump in, so we did, only to be told by some jobsworth a lifeguard only doing their job that becauae of their shite wristband system we would have to get out if the pool along wuth the 8 year old, two 6 year olds & a 5 year old and wait for a further hour!!!

We asked to speak to the manager and compromised that the kids could stay in and we would sit on the edge of the pool, legs a dangling- just in case!!!

We were not impressed, but the coolness of the water on a scorching hot day soon washed away our anger!!!
