'From Little Acorns.....'

During the autumn of 2010 I picked up some acorns from the grass around a large oak tree in the 'Clock Tower Park' area of Abbeymead, Gloucester.
I planted them in March into a flowerpot, not really expecting them to come to anything, but two of them germinated.

This is the better of the two and I was thinking "I'd like to see this in a couple of hundred years time".
Maybe I should become a Hindu or a Buddhist so that I can have another life to check on how it's getting on in years to come.
