Starry Eyed Surprise

Doggy Paddle

Is this it then?

Summer, I mean. For a work day only one word can describe it 'scorchio'.

Lovely Mr G whisked me away for a beach picnic at lunchtime today, which was just fab.
It's very difficult to even entertain the thought of going back to work for the afternoon when you're sitting watching the sea and people in paddling and catching some sun rays.

I did manage to go back though, only to discover that my colleagues were seated outside one of the classrooms having their lunch.

"You should have stayed here with us and had your lunch outside," they taunted.

"I did have my lunch outside, i've just been for a beach picnic!" I replied.

And in the words of my daughter and the rest of P7 'owned'

Later in the afternoon, Mr G was fish-wifing chatting to one of our neighbours outside her garden gate. Rocket and Radar were wandering around but then made a bolt for it into her back garden.

When Mr G and the neighbour caught up with them in the garden , the were thoroughly enjoying themselves in the paddling pool the neighbour had set up for her children return from school.

Very bad manners Rocket and Radar when you haven't been invited but maybe they can be forgive as it was such a hot day and the neighbour didn't mind.
