Sunset over Bardsey Island

What a brilliant, hot, sunny, proper summer's day at last! Up early and walked round Consti with Chris and step-daughter, and three dogs. Then some gardening (with lots of tea breaks) until the postman arrived with an old photo album which had belonged to one of my mothers uncles, with photos taken from 1914 onwards. Very pleased to find a new one of my maternal grandfather (I only have two other photos of him) and my maternal grandmother. I never knew either of them, since my mother was orphaned at an early age.

Spent some time scanning the photos, then, when it had cooled down a little, more gardening and after supper another walk round Const, where the sunset (see above) was fabulous.
