Through Jo's Lens

Sonny & Share

We drove over the mountains today, into a small village called Turgut. We met a Turkish guy with an American accent and his name was Sonny. He was opening a small carpet workshop and we had a nice chat with him. He had lived in Wisconsin as a child, hence the accent and the nickname of Sonny.

He invited the boys to pick oranges from his orchard and they didn't need asking twice.
