Jittery Geoffrey

Sorry for lack of blip anything yesterday and for the next couple of days. The hotel I'm staying in switched the power off due to a suspected gas leak and now the internet wont work on my laptop or phone. This is the second hotel in a row where a power interruption has locked me out. I see a pattern emerging. I dashed into Derby city centre to find a cafe with wifi.

Anyhow, we went to Bakewell today, watched several Morris sides dancing down by the river and there were several owls on perches to be photographed as long as a donation was made to the local falconry/shelter. I liked this little chap, who was much smaller than the other owls and was feeling insecure.

His name really is Geoffrey.
