Yasha

Max went to a pool party this afternoon and boy, was it hot! I don't think it was too bad for the kids in the pool as the water was chilled, but it was extremely hot for the adults stood around.

After all my years in the UK swimming in freezing cold water, I still struggle to come to terms with the need to deliberately chill water. The pool in our compound doesn't have a chiller and is now like a very warm bath. On the plus side, there is no need to heat water here for the next few months - the sun takes care of that for you and it runs hot from the tap!

Anyway, this little 6 year old chap is Max's friend Yasha enjoying his party food.
