Hey there...this's ma place!

We had the the most gloriously tiresome yet wonderful Saturday! We finally decided to go on a hiking adventure to Eifel National Park, Vogelsang (Germany). And during our 'Wandern', we found this Skink, a rarity atleast in Germany for us, because in India it roams in our backyard and has more blazing colours; this was equally gorgeous!! We found many more on the way.
But anyways it was good meeting him, and nice of him to pose for us...! It was a wonderful place, all surrounded by a lake twisting away like snake. The best part of the day was, we walked the 1st 5 kms of flat terrain lazily in 2.5 hrs and had to make the rest 6.8 kms of steep inclining slope in 1.5 hrs, with the sun blazing at a 26 deg!!!

Nevertheless it was a wonderful start and hope to make many more such hiking trips in future!
