Brief Encounter

Decided to pop into Lancaster today , quite a mission it was too . Engineering works on the railway we already knew about , so was prepared for a slightly longer journey with the replacement bus for part of the journey, being as brief as possible this what happened, train > train breaks down > train again > bus > train > arrive Lancaster .One of the changeovers happened to be Carnforth Station, which is where the movie Brief Encounter was filmed. Todays blip is of the original ,still working station clock which is seen many times in the film
