Another reason not to cut my grass!!!

Does anyone know what this is? I thought it was a clover but it doesn't have clover leaves... I have got a wee daisy in here to give you an idea of size - maybe 3inches. I almost chopped it off in its prime but have mown round it!

It is the "Border Gaitherin" this weekend - a whole weekend of traditional sounds and sessions. Very fab. Local and National players of guitar, accordian, fiddle, bodhran, harp are all here on our doorstep playing great tunes.

A main aim of the weekend is to inspire and encourage youngsters to play and participate in traditional music. There are stage performances, sessions, workshops, a wild ceilidh, a Cool Concert and a fantastic Tutors Concert which is hair raisingly amazing.

A VERY pleasant change from the mood of my week. Refreshing, lively and very, very happy.
