Twiggle Village
We visited the BeWILDerwood adventure today and it was just fantastic, apart from the fact that Mrs W had a bit of a mishap on the way in when she went over on her ankle (unfortunately whilst carrying Alex so they both ended up splatted on the ground) and has been hobbling ever since.
I really have to make an effort to get into the spirit of kids themed activities, this being the downside of not having children until you have hit your 40s, but this was no effort at all. This was climbing up onto treetop walkways, swinging on zip wires and sliding down very fast slides. In fact if it wasn't for the foulest of foul coffee at the snack bar, I would have rated this a perfect venue for a day out and it probably still is if you don't feel the desperate urge for a coffee mid-afternoon.
BeWILDerwood is based on the magical children's books written by local author and creator of BeWILDerwood, Tom Blofeld. I hadn't heard of the books but we bought one while there and the kids are both mesmerised by the story and will buy the others in due course.
Great day out and thoroughly recommended if you are in striking distance of Wroxham.
